Steps: Disable WiFi and go onto Cellular Data. Go into Minecraft. Ensure that Use Cellular Data is on in the settings. Load up the world ensuring that Multiplayer Game is toggled on. Load the world. At this point, my friends do not see my world in the Friends category and inviting them does nothing.
I really need to play with my friend and he can only play on data. We both have data enabled on our phones, enabled in minecraft under “Use Cellular Data”, are friends in xbox live and have the settings set to allow to join and invite. But even still our worlds don’t show up under multiplayer..and inviting does nothing.
Enable the cellular data for server. Please add the previous feature in which we can play with friends in a server by mobile data ( cellular data ) not everyone have wifi connection in India. Registered User shared this idea.
I’m having the same problem. I’m on Rogers LTE in Ontario with a variety of iOS devices (iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad Pro, and iPhone 6s plus) running iOS 9 and 10. They can all connect fine to Realms over wifi, and are all unable to connect to Realms via cellular. All the proper swiches are set to allow cellular data, both in the app and in iOS settings.
